How it all started.
Founded by two passionate visionaries and business associates, Pam and Lori worked side-by-side for nearly 30 years at some of the world’s biggest names in travel, including American Express Travel, Disney Cruise Line, Carnival Cruise Lines and Royal Caribbean International – on both the retail and corporate side of the business. Through the course of their careers, they realized there was only one thing which was often requested yet not readily available: Fully inclusive cruise and resort certificates which provided an easy, seamless way to give the gift of travel.
The Opportunity. With this in mind, Pam and Lori decided to leverage their decades of experience by tapping into their vast network of cruise line and resort contacts to gauge their interest in developing such a program. They found overwhelming support for this concept and as a result, a vast portfolio of certificates is now available to both businesses and consumers alike via 
It’s All About the Delivery. There was one final thing to do: Create a fun and flexible gift delivery option that would both excite and engage the recipient. While all certificates are delivered digitally, they felt there needed to be a more meaningful way to present such a substantial gift. Hence, Gift A Trip’s signature Red Box was created, which can be personalized with the sender’s own message.
